Headless Horseman Dog Costume Size: X-Large 22-26 Inches - 4.0 out of 5 stars from 2 customer reviews
Headless Horseman Dog Costume
My dog is 70lbs. and this costume fit perfectly. Very unusual as most are made for small dogs. The costume is comfortable, good quality and he doesn't mind wearing it. And he looks really cute. I would recommend this costume and company to anyone with a large dog.
Like most dog costumes, this runs small
We bought the X-Large size of this, thinking that would be big enough for a medium-sized (75-78 lb) Golden Retriever. Nope. I'm sure it wouldn't fit most Labradors either. It *might* fit something like a short-haired pointer or a slim Dalmatian.
The design of the velcro flaps that are supposed to secure it is also a little strange -- it was hard to figure out what should attach to what, and it appeared that the velcro was positioned such that you had to attach flaps in a "praying hands" position rather than a "handshake" arrangement that would be more secure. But the actual sculpture/figure seemed reasonably well-made.
In the end our dog wore a "Teddy the Peace Dog tie-dye T-shirt" (XXL), which also ran small -- the XXL fit him tightly like a sausage skin.
