I bought this coat for my mixed breed,short haired, 85 lb. dog. It is just as represented, and keeps him warm on walks. He doesn't seem bothered by it, and sometimes waits for it to be put on. The X-Large is about 24 inches long from the collar to the tail. It fits my dog fine. The velcro in the front and around his middle hold the coat on securely. I recommend this coat for large dogs.
If you have a giant dog, like a St. Bernard, Mastiff or an Antolian Shepard, this coat won't be big enough in length or girth. I don't know if they make an XXL.Nice Jacket
I purchased the XL for my 60lb lab mix. It turns out its a little too big, so sometimes comes undone in the front. But my dog hates the cold and rain and gets excited when I pull out the jacket! I really like the plaid reverse side, I always say Pablo(my dog) looks like Sherlock Holmes in it! Just for anyone who is uncertain if your dog is 60-70lb I would get a L not and XL.Dog Coat

When it first arrived we thought "how adorable" and how nice it will look on our Pomeranian dog Scooter Pie. Scooter Pie was to be our Ring Bearer for our wedding. It arrived one week before the wedding; we tried it on and it was terribly small for him. Granted, he is a big Pom, about 15 lbs, however, we ordered it correctly by the sizing guidelines for a dog that is usually bigger than a Pomeranian (Jack Russell Terrier, King Charles Spaniel, Bull Dog, etc). We ordered a Medium and the next size would be too big (German Shepard etc). It was too close to the wedding to send back, so we improvised. My very crafty cousin added fabric on the sides to expand the doggie girth and Scooter was able to wear it for our wedding. It is still very snugg around his collar and we probably will not use it again since the velcro pulls the fabric. We would have given it 4 stars if it wasn't for the miss sizing.low quality, but very cute
The little shirt and vest connect separately in the front, which is good for fit. The overall look is quite cute, especially the little tails. But the material feels cheap, and I doubt it'll last long.It's alright.
I read the reviews and agree with them. It is not the best made pet clothing ever, but it is also extraordinarily cheap. He doesn't like it so much I think because of the chords that go in between the legs to keep the sweater snug on the lower half but will start walking if I prod him. It's very warm and thick with a turtleneck. She's still wearing it because the groomer at Petsmart shaved off all of her hair down to just 1 mm. She was so cold. I bought this and another outfit for her that is like a sweatshirt and have to put both on her to keep her warm. With the two clothes together, she's stopped shivering. Her hair is growing back at a very slow pace, so I'm sure she'll wear both outfits for several more months. It looks cute, and I'm glad I bought it. I'm really happy with this purchase it was a really great price and it came on time and as soon as it arrived i just had to put it on my Yorkie puppy the x small fits her perfectly its true to size. The sweater its really worm, well made, I thought it was a simple brown sweater but it has a little bit of orange and green in the brown tread that i couldn't tell it had in the picture so it was a nice surprise since its perfect fall colors. First all let me say, if you plan to buy this item get a size smaller! It runs really big, lucky I know how to sew so I was able to get it to fit on my dog. It says a medium would fit a Pug, so not true. Unless my Pug is really small for her breed.

The tux is well made and adorable, I would have rated 5 stars but the fact that it states "for dogs 6-14lbs" is ridiculous.My dog weighs 9lbs and it barely fit,I even measured my dog before I placed the order,and I was still disappointed at how small it actually is. The only reason it fit my dog is because he is a hairless chinese crested.It also does NOT come with a top hat. Overall the SIZES run SMALL so if you normally get a size SM for your dog I recommend getting a MEDIUM.Runs small
I would agree that this runs small. I bought this for a 6 lb chihuahua. He is a little round in the belly so I figured since the sizes were xxs, xs, s, m, etc that small would be more than big enough. It fit, but was snug around his neck. My rabbit is 2-3lbs, Holland Lop bunny. This tux fits him perfectly. He doesn't fight to take it off and it was easy to put on.
Sizing - I usually buy my bunny SMALLS from Petco and Petsmart clothes (dog clothes) they sell there. So I figured he'd be a SMALL with this.
Fitting - he was fine wearing it. He walked around with it on.
He wore it for a pet contest and he looked great in it!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this jacket. I have a pretty little beagle with very short hair and basically no hair on her belly. Her winter coat last year didn't fit her right and also did not keep out the cold and snow. Where I live the temps go below zero or near and I knew she needed extra protection. What I love about this jacket is the velcro closes all down her belly keeping her belly shielded from the cold and snow. I also love the collar and sleeves as an added protection. And the fact that it has an inner living that reflects her body heat back to her is very important to me. The fit is true to size and I'm glad I purchased this product.Thermal Dog Jacket
Received the jackets. I have large dogs and ordered X-Large jackets. Jackets not only did not fit but are not designed properly. Dogs shoulders don't rotate or have sufficient ROM to get arms into these things. They seem designed similar to human clothing, yet did not take into account dog physiology. They also velcro on the underside and would have a tendancy to separate if pressure is put on them.
I ordered in October, 09 and received early November 09. I immediately returned but as of 12/1/09, have not received a credit on my credit card or any status. I now have to call and track down my refund.
I would not order again from this company given the poor fit, design and particularly the delayed refund.Great Quality Materials - Poor Sizing Design

This cheerleader outfit is so cute!!! The entire underside opens and closes with velcro, so it is very easy to put on my dog. It does have the arm holes, but other than that, there is nothing besides the velcro. I'm glad that I don't have to put it over her hear or anything. I'm sure she appreciates that, too!!!
I was torn on whether to buy a small or a medium. I was leaning towards the small but was a little iffy based on another reviewer having a teeny tiny dog and the small being just a little loose. I ended up going with the medium more so because it was almost 10 dollars less (not sure why, but I'm not going to complain!!!). My dog is a Shih Tzu and Poodle mix that is about 16 pounds. She is a little bigger than most of that mix -- she is taller and longer, but she is still thin (rescued her less than 2 months ago and she hasn't gained enough weight yet) through the body. I would estimate that a medium would still fit her if she gained a few more pounds...Cute

If you have a large Collie, Mastiff or something similar in size this won't work. We ended up adding ribbon so the jacket would actually go around him but it was still small in comparison to his size. The top hat was more like a Amish hat, not tall like a top hat. If you have a small to medium dog,this would work out well. The material and stitching is very nice. It did get some laughs at the wedding and let's face it,it's a novelty and only worn once so it served its purpose.Adorable

Overall a very cute costume. The glasses fit very tight on the head and I may need to cut ear holes in the hat. I originally ordered a large (which was way too big for my pet). I then exchanged for a small, which is snug but doable. The packaging provides the sizing details, which the Amazon description lacks:
Small - fits up to 23 lbs (up to 10" back, 16" chest)
Medium - fits up to 45 lbs (up to 12" back, 17" chest)
Large - fits up to 70 lbs (up to 15" back, 20" chest)Not happy with the costume
I was very happy with my decision to get this costume until I put it on my dog. I wasn't too happy with the hat and the elastic glasses. The hat wouldn't stay put no matter what we did, we tried bobby pins still wouldn't stay and the glasses were too tight that my dog couldn't even see. So, of course if u don't have the hat and the glasses he just looked like a dog prisoner.Nice outfit but runs small!

I ordered this in a medium, all other costumes and clothing have been medium - this medium could have fit a German Shepherd. I have a Jack Russell. Ordered a small, and it's still HUGE.
The package says something like "perfect for small dogs or cats!" I never want to be caught in a dark alley with a cat that can fit into thing.
However, my dog looks hilarious in it, so i'm going to cut it up and custom fit it to his body.Hilarious!
I have a tall German Shepherd, and i was nervous that this wasn't going to fit him. However, it fits (for the most part) perfectly. The AT-AT portion on the back does not stick up straight - it flops over because it's just fabric. I will be reinforcing it with some small copper wire and adding plastic stoppers to the ends so that I can get it to stay up. I also am adding a grey fabric strip in front that will velcro together so it can stay up on him. Otherwise, it would just get stepped on with his back legs when he walks and come off.
