Buyer, Beware.
I read other reviews saying that this was very small, and too small for little dogs. I thought it would be perfect, then, for my cat who is by no means large or even overly fluffy. It was so small even on him that I could only get the first button closed, and the head part only reached about halfway up his neck. It is VERY SMALL.
I think this must be designed for very young puppies, but surely not for any adult-sized animal. I gave it three stars because I did manage to get it on my cat and it was somewhat entertaining watching him run around in it.Bumble Bee

I've bought a few Kyjen squeaker mats, and have encountered fabric problems with one of them. I was hoping this one would be OK, but unfortunately not - Kyjen made a very poor choice with the fabric on the back of this toy. The black fuzzy hair falls out so easily - it's like a dog that keeps shedding. I only have to gently run my fingers over it to get a handful of fibres, and that's nothing compared to what a dog might yank out. I even used a sticky lint roller on it, and lifted so much hair it was quite alarming. The entire sheet was covered in black, twice, and then i could still lift fibres with my fingers. ( I often use the lint roller to get dog hairs off other dog plush toys, and have never encountered the fur coming off the toy.) I've also bought other toys with the same texture, but the fibres don't come loose at all, so it's just poor quality fabric here. I purchased this little lion costume for my dog, Meeko. He is a Shiranian which is half Shih-Tzu, half Pomeranian! (cute, right?!)
The body of the lion suit fits perfectly, but the head piece (the most important part) is pretty big on him. In fact, we couldn't see his eyes at all when he was wearing it. We are going to trim the top of the costume right beneath the eyes and see if that will open up enough space for Meeko to see! I will try to post a picture to show if it worked out or not! :)
The mane is pretty cheaply made, but it's a pet costume!

They answered quickly, gave me the tracking number and offered to help me with anything on my mind. Fortunately, it arrived the day before the parade. The only other issue I had resulted from my own inattention to the site. The costume was a tight fit but that's because I didn't read the entire description. I should have ordered a medium. These coats are very well made, they are thick, the fleece side is very soft and warm. I have two pit bulls, and they won't go outside in the rain or snow without their coats. Instead, they sit by the door and look at their coats until we put them on.
Our dogs do run around an play in their coats, but not as rough as they normally do. I think the coats restrict them a little. But, the coats have no evidence that they are damaged. We bought these coats toward the end of last winter - and have only used them a few times this winter. All in all, probably 2 months of regular use.
The coats are very east to get on. Before these, the dogs had hoodies which were difficult and frustrating to get on and off. With these, it doesn't matter if they are sitting, standing, even walking - I can get them on and off!bang for the buck!
This is the 2nd blanket I bought for my German Short Hair. She plays hard with labs larger than her,and this blanket stays put! I really like the reflective tape,as she sometimes ventures toward the road at night. The fact that is is reversable is like having 2 blankets. She got a small rip in it probably from barbed wire on the farm and it has not frayed at all. I haven't washed it yet, but I believe it will hold up well. Mud wipes right off the nylon shell. I feel this is a great valuse for the money.Pretty good. Might fit weird depending on type of dog
Ordered two of these coats since the price was very good. I have two bully breeds about 50lbs. They seem to fit ok. They were in between sizes (Med and Large). What is wrong with our society? This is disgusting on so many levels. For one, the beloved dog (man's best friend) should not have his or her dignity besmirched by by turning the animal into a cat. Studies have shown that this can create species confusion. I would be willing to bet that this "dog" threw up a furball before the photo shoot was finished.
Secondly, if this costume were to be sold in India, it is likely that this "dog" would be mistaken for a man- eating Bengal Tiger (remember what happened to Roy of Siegfried and ... fame) and the dog would be beaten to death by sticks and poison darts hurled from angry villagers.

We bought the X-Large size of this, thinking that would be big enough for a medium-sized (75-78 lb) Golden Retriever. Nope. I'm sure it wouldn't fit most Labradors either. It *might* fit something like a short-haired pointer or a slim Dalmatian.
The design of the velcro flaps that are supposed to secure it is also a little strange -- it was hard to figure out what should attach to what, and it appeared that the velcro was positioned such that you had to attach flaps in a "praying hands" position rather than a "handshake" arrangement that would be more secure. But the actual sculpture/figure seemed reasonably well-made.
In the end our dog wore a "Teddy the Peace Dog tie-dye T-shirt" (XXL), which also ran small -- the XXL fit him tightly like a sausage skin.> Click to See Editorial Reviews

At least I thought our dog looked better than those pooches. We purchased this so that our ACD could dress up for a cocktail party. He was a star.
I'm giving a 4-star total because the durability isn't quite what I expected given the overall quality and price. The fabric is soft but sturdy; it didn't seem to bother our dog at all. The collar behind the tie is a really nice touch and is the reason I chose this over similar products. Herein lies the problem: the tie is connected to the collar through a piece of plastic - the plastic is fine - but the thread is strained and was already coming quite loose after one evening. It can be re-stitched very easily, but I hoped it would last a full night before needing repaired. I suppose this connection was chosen so that the tie could be separated from the collar and cleaned.
We're still very satisfied with the purchase.

Bought this for my long haired dachshund this past Halloween. The way it attaches, the dog can worm it's way out pretty quickly. My puppy did not even get to wear it anywhere. :( I wouldn't recommend it!My dog can run out of the costume!
