At least I thought our dog looked better than those pooches. We purchased this so that our ACD could dress up for a cocktail party. He was a star.
I'm giving a 4-star total because the durability isn't quite what I expected given the overall quality and price. The fabric is soft but sturdy; it didn't seem to bother our dog at all. The collar behind the tie is a really nice touch and is the reason I chose this over similar products. Herein lies the problem: the tie is connected to the collar through a piece of plastic - the plastic is fine - but the thread is strained and was already coming quite loose after one evening. It can be re-stitched very easily, but I hoped it would last a full night before needing repaired. I suppose this connection was chosen so that the tie could be separated from the collar and cleaned.
We're still very satisfied with the purchase.
