I ordered a medium for my beagle mix after I did the measurements and she was a perfect match. Only 1 of the 3 or 4 velcrow strips actually reaches around enough to work. The hat is way too big and falls off as soon as she moves. Luckily with my sewing skills I was able to modify it - Just shorten up the elastic on the hat and add a little fabric underneath so the straps reach! Much more than I planned to do to the costume, but it is still very cute!Cute product
The outfit is adorable, but the sizing runs big. The size scale says it measures the outfit by the inches of the dog from back of neck to where tails begins, but I think it actually goes by the dog's weight. I just made hem adjustments to fit.Very good quality but it could have been a little bit bigger.
We needed a "sheep" costume for our basset-lab-germanshepherd therapy dog but had to settle for a modified rabbit. I removed the ears and placed them on the side of the head so it looked more like a sheep.I also removed the rabbit tail. It looked great!! I added some velcro on the under belly and around the legs because it was not quite big enough because it had nice snaps rather than velcro which can usually be adjusted. I loved this coat so much. I bought two. One when my puppy was just a couple months old and again after he was a few months old. My only complaint is that they dont this coat in an XXL. I absolutely loved the coat. When he grew out I gave them away to two friends that had smaller puppies. The quality is really good. I washed these coats multiple times and they never shrunk or fell apart.Fits great, easy to put on
These are made for small dogs, so a medium actually fits dogs of 12 lbs. or less. We gave this to our friend who has an 8 lb. terrier/chihuahua mix & it fits him great. The only thing we don't like is the hood--they're not practical for dogs & this would be better with a high collar rather than the hood. My second big complaint is it tells you the headband is stretchy to fit around your dogs head. Mine, which is supposed to fit a small dog, though I needed a large size, is so overly stretch out that its useless even on a large dog. The petals on this are also tiny compared with the picture, but that could be because of the size I received. I bought this coat for my mixed breed,short haired, 85 lb. dog. It is just as represented, and keeps him warm on walks. He doesn't seem bothered by it, and sometimes waits for it to be put on. The X-Large is about 24 inches long from the collar to the tail. It fits my dog fine. The velcro in the front and around his middle hold the coat on securely. I recommend this coat for large dogs.
If you have a giant dog, like a St. Bernard, Mastiff or an Antolian Shepard, this coat won't be big enough in length or girth. I don't know if they make an XXL.Nice Jacket
I purchased the XL for my 60lb lab mix. It turns out its a little too big, so sometimes comes undone in the front. But my dog hates the cold and rain and gets excited when I pull out the jacket! It is a fun little costume, I took her for her evening walk around the neighborhood on Halloween. It was a bit too small for my dog, so I'll find a friend with a somewhat smaller dog and give it to them for next Halloween.
Pro's:
It is well made with heavier fabric than I expected.
There is an elastic loop in the back that goes under the dog's tail to keep the costume from riding up toward the dog's neck. The sleeves for the dog's front legs keep the costume from slipping sideways.
Con's:
My cocker spaniel is 25 lbs. (which isn't big for a cocker spaniel) and though the description lists that size as appropriate for a cocker it was a bit too small. It really wasn't long enough over her back and it was stretching the loop a lot to get it under her tail.
I had no luck trying to get the hood to stay on her head. It also was a bit too small and I had to stretch it forward to get it over her head. She would then just shake her head...Great costume but not pug friendly
This item is so cute and is a good quality costume and was shipped quickly to me, but unfortunately they didn't list the width measurements so it won't fit my pug. I bought this for my Shetland sheepdog who is 33 pounds. I bought the X-Large size based on other reviews that the costume runs small. I usually buy him a large. This costume runs BIG. The X-large was way too big for him! It's still a cute costume though, and I still plan to use it. It has two Velcro closings - one around the neck and one under the stomach. Easy to put on and to take off! The little antennae at the top have bendy wires in them so you can pose them how you like. These are pretty well made dog PJ's. I would give more stars but the size runs very small, my Papillon is only 9 lbs and 13 inches long from neck to tail base. The measurement chart show that small should fit her, instead they are short in length and a bit snug. Peaches is slender and shaved for summer, so I am sure this is just stingy sizing on the manufacturers part. I would order the medium next time as these are 100% cotton and will shrink. The color and striped pattern is very cute though and the material thick enough to keep her warm until our mountain nights warm up.cute, but sized wrong
These pj's are cute but sized way wrong. They appear to be able to fit a 13 to20 pound dog......not a 3 pound dog that does battle with stuffed squirrels. Returns from outside Amazon vendors have been a nightmare from my experience so far. This product must be returned, and as a result, I wish I would not have bothered buying them due to the hassles. These pj's are adorable!! Great material...not too thick or too thin! My 11 lb shih-tzu loves her pj's! The only bad thing about these are that after having them on for a few minutes, her arms & legs start to come out. I don't know why because they fit her everywhere else & if I got them any smaller, she wouldn't be able to even get them on to begin with! So, I don't know what to tell you about that, except to say that if you sew, you could take them up a little by the arms & legs that way it would be a little tighter in that area, but not all over?? I haven't tried that yet, but I'm getting ready to, so when I do, I'll come back and edit this review. But, these PJ's are just cute!! This is an excellent jumper. I ordered a 16" large for my ShihTzu Hampshire.
The fabric is extremely high quality and it fits perfectly. It is made of thick high quality fleece cotton with bold zig zag yellow stitching on the two back pockets.
On the back legs, there are yellow and black racing strips with black and yellow contrasting zig zag stitching that are positioned on the outside of the legs.
The front legs and sides have a bright orange/yellow fleece fabric with black ribbon that gives the garment a chic appeal. The jumper has a silver metal snap at the collar.
This garments must be slipped over the head. I really like the oversized collar because it gives the jumper a masculine touch. More importantly, the legs stay on when Hampshire jumps or moves.

My Chihuahua is a complete mutant, so finding things that fit & keep him warm are a challenge.
This is long enough that it covers down his back. The end reaches the base of the tail, and for most dogs would cover. I do not use the leg straps b/c it just isnt quite long enough. It does fit around his body/chest perfectly.
He is proportionally like a whippet, just smaller.

I have a 3 year old Shih Tzu, tan and white. I swore I wouldn't do it when I got her... Wouldn't torture her with silly outfits and hairbows. Thus began a steady quest of collecting precious outfits and accessories for my little girl, who, thankfully, bucks a little bit at the idea of putting on or taking off clothes, but doesn't seeem to notice or care that she's wearing it once it's on.
Being tan and white, it's hard to find the right color for her clothes. White and pastel colors tend to wash her out, dark colors tend to contrast too much, and colors like pink and blue don't really go with tan. So when I saw this, with all the gold trim, I thought it would go with her color beautifully, and it does!

This is super light weight with nothing that rattled or made noise like some Christmas collars with bells, so it did not bother my big old lady lab at all. It was super festive and cute. Bought this for a cat as a joke gift, and while it provided some laughs, it certainly was not as cool looking as the picture had me believe. First off, the cat which it was purchased for is pretty small, much smaller than the vast majority of dogs you will ever see. This costume fit, and fit fine, but did not cover up the cat nearly well enough to replicate the display photo.
The head sat above the cat's head and rested there, and would not stay over the pet's head unless you kept pushing it down. The tail also ended way before the cat's tail was reached.
It's funny, and cheap, and most likely worth it, just be sure your pet is super small if you want it to fit properly!Great quality!

Oh gosh...my dog could not have been cuter in this costume! Everyone who sees it, loves it. The only problem is I don't really think it's true to size... My Mini Schnauzer loves this toy and I am so glad I bought it. At first Sebastian wasn't sure what to do with it until I started placing treats inside the pumpkin with all the squeakers stuffed inside. This toy is great and can be run through the washing machine and dryer. Very sturdy construction. So I decided to purchase two extra pumpkins for when his initial pumpkin is finally had it. Looks as that will be a while. I wanted to be sure to get a few more as I am thinking this toy will soon be discontinued.
I also have the Hide a Squirrel and am looking to purchase the Gingerbread Kyjen toy. This toy is definitely worth the asking price.Love it!
My standard poodle loves these sorts of toys. She did utterly destroy one of the squeaky bones but all in all, it's surviving pretty well.Wonderful!!!!!
I had found a Hide-a-Hoot in a local pet store and it is my collie puppy's favorite toy. This item seemed to be a festive alternative for his favorite. He LOVES it! I also bought the Christmas hide-a- toy and the hide-a-squirrel. These are the only toys Rudy repeatedly goes back to so I had to stock up. I bought the hugest size available for my 60lb Husky. The XXL they sent MIGHT fit a Terrier, and I didn't see any sizing info on the product page. Very disappointed, but I guess it will make a good present for someone who has a smaller dog.
It DOES seem pretty sturdy and comfortable, for a dog a third of the size of mine... Seriously, though, since when is XXL for a 20lb dog??Very Good Quality!
