This costume is cheaply made, but that is not the worst of it. It is definitely not true to size. I bought a size small for my 12-pound dachshund. He fits the measurements for that size according to the official sizing information. This costume is SO BIG that I triple-checked all the tags and packaging, which all say size small! I tried this on my 25-pound Beagle, and it doesn't even fit her! She fell out of it right away as it dragged along the floor. The velcro pieces don't match up either. There is a long strip of velcro on the back that they expect you to attach to a tiny half inch circle of it on the other side.
Not worth it unless you plan to do a complete re-fitting and alteration.Funny and durable costume

This is a cute product, and adequately well made for the money. My issue was with sizing. I purchased an "extra large" (largest available) for our 80 pound Labradore. Now, a Lab is not the worlds biggest dog, but I fugred I would get the largest size available. There is no sizing aids available online. It turns out the package rates an "extra large" dog as 28 to 32 lbs. Needless to say, the costume does not fit. It is clearly too small, which, in itself, is pretty funny. A big white Lab in a costume clearly too small for her. It will still work for the parade, but Amazon should add sizing information to the web page.Cute costume

I purchased this robe in powder pink and white at a fancy pet boutique for my Shikingnese Darby. I also bought one in baby blue and white for my ShihTzu Hampshire.
The pink robe has princess written in fancy gold script on the back, and the blue robe has prince written on the back in fancy gold script. Both are written across the crown.
I purchased a medium for both Darby and Hampshire because they both measure 16" from neck to hinny. I paid too much at the boutique ($30). However, this is a very high quality garment.
It is made of thick and sturdy terry cotton fabric. The robe has a hood and a sewn on pink crown with three diadeams. The robe comes in both pink and blue. The hood, sleeves, and cord all have the same pink/blue trim.
It has a velcro tab at the chest area and one in the waist area. It also has a tie cord at the waist line that can be wrapped around the waist, and tied as a bow.
This keeps the robe securely in...Princess loves it
We had purchased the prince one and our pup loved it and so when we got our new pup we knew she would need this product also. She is the cutest thing in it after her bath. It is a great item and would definity get another one if need be. Some times here in MI it is cold for them after a bath and so what better way to keep them warm and from getting sick than by letting them wear the princess bathrobe.
It is well worth the money.

This is primarily a review about fit. As for construction, it appears solidly made. The fleece portion is thick and soft. The stitching looks strong. There *is* a cut-out in the rear of the belly region (I couldn't tell from any of the photos available). The orange color is great for hunting season, which is one of the reasons I chose this jacket.
However, I had to return the item because of the fit. My puppy is 16 months old and about 28" at the shoulder, with a deep, very narrow chest. He's pretty much all legs. I was able to close the velcro all the way up his back, and the length of the jacket was perfect, but puppy immediately began walking stiff-legged. At first I thought it was just because of the new thing on his back, but when I examined closely I found that the bottom of the front leg holes cut into the place where his front legs meet his body (his "armpit", you might call it). It was bad enough that I was concerned it was disrupting his circulation...dog vest
while this is too hot to wear in the summer- for fall thru spring its great, you can see your dog and the tough ripstop on the underside really stops scrapes from briars and such. it washes easily and I expect to get many seasons of wear out if it as it is very well made. for scale my dog- a rescue pittie is 65 lbs and it fits perfect.good vest, but wrong size according to their chart

I have Maltese and a Yorkie, each weighing about 7 pounds. The size 12 coat fit each perfectly. One dog is 12" from neck to base of tail, and the other is around 13". They look cute and at least their bodies are protected from the rain. The hood is more of a design feature when used with a leash. The coat has a little fleece-like lining which helps keep the dogs warm. I am completely pleased with the price and the coat. Many coats cost much, much more for not much better quality.Quality fine, but bigger than expected
I thought the 12" length listed measured from nose to rear and from the description that it would fit. It was too big for my Russian Toy. Both too big around and rather long. Would also be too big for a chihuahua, or small yorkie. If there were a hole for a harness that would let in water, so I think it is best without it. I had the jacket altered and put the harness over the jacket. Thought it was a good buy, but the alterations cost more than the jacket. The hood is detachable, which is good because it covers my dog's entire head, eyes and nose included and he can't wear it. Cleans up well, is colorfast, and keeps him dry on top. Underneath he gets filthy because there is only a belly band. The band is good though, because if it were bigger, he probably wouldn't want to wear it, because he doesn't like anything restrictive. It would be good if the manufacturer listed the circumference. I would, but I thought of it too late.
I would be willing to try other products by this...Price is Right

I bought this so my dog could look ridiculous on Christmas. I grew a little concerned that I wouldn't receive this in time for Christmas (per the notice on amazon). But the seller responded to my inquiry very quickly and had actually sent it via faster service to ensure that I would have it in time. The outfit is even more well made than I expected - and arrived well in advance before Christmas. Kudos Petparty! And thank you for helping me destroy my dog's self-esteem :)Very Cute!
We took pictures of our little dog in this costume last Xmas and put them on Face Book. This was her first costume and she wore it and didn't try to take it off. The medium size was just right for her. She is a #10 Chi /Mix and has a long body with short legs. You can find other costumes much cheaper but the material is very flimsy and can only be used 1 or 2 times. I like this hat. My dog doesn't. Still, it did what it was supposed to, at least until my little guy shook it off (about 2 minutes after it was on). I don't think there's any way to make sure it stays on my guy. The strap is fine and everything, and is adjustable, but if my dog doesn't want to wear it, he can easily get it off.
In terms of sizing, I purchased the large, and it fit my 50-55 lbs boxer puppy. I bet it would fit him until he's full size (probably around 80 lbs).
Also, as a side note, my dog eventually decided to turn the hat into a toy and chewed through the elastic strap. It is, however, now one of his favorite "toys".Great

Perfect Sizing!!! I have a miniature dachshund. I measured her back, chest and neck. She only weighs 12 lbs, but she's an extra large in this dress which is normally a medium in Petsmart or Petco. But this dress was gorgeous. It falls right over her shoulders perfectly and it's just long enough for her long back to go all the way down to her behind. Many complements from friends and family. I bought 2 other dresses that all fit perfectly. I was skeptical at first with review about sizing. No problems if you actually measure your dog the way you're supposed to. I bought this for a miniature dachshund and I like the concept enough, but the front panel that goes across the chest has Velcro that doesn't go from edge-to-edge so you end up with a flap on the end that can easily get caught on something. My dog is around 10# and is too short to walk correctly with the front panel, because it's so large (from bottom to top). This would probably be OK for a taller breed. I like the hole for the collar to be hooked through the jacket; that's a great feature. The folded down panel at the neck makes it look like a Dracula cape or a short cone when not folded down and it seems a bit bulky when folded down. So, for the price, it's just OK if I'm carrying my dog around, but he had trouble extending his front legs forward. What is nice is that it is very easy to put on.I bought two of these!
I have a small dog, yorkie/toy poodle mix who is about 10 lbs. and about 14in. long and thin. The small fit her perfect as a pup, but although it still fits just a tad short, she was noticeably cold. I decided to purchase the medium -- and it covers her entirely like a blanket! Although it is big -- It keeps her warm! We live in Chicago where the weather has been about 18 degrees and will be 1 degree tomorrow and it has kept her warm for walks along with one of the random fleece hooded sweaters which I keep her in all winter, also underneath the jacket. So I've become a loyal customer to Zack and Zoey and always recommend them to people looking to help their furry babies stay warm throughout the winter months. I ordered this particular product for the first time for my newer dog and it looks great, is made well, is nice quality...except its too small. I ordered a medium, based on sizing suggestions, for my french bulldog but I had to shove him into it... I will have to order it a size bigger (because my husband loved the pattern so much!!) and give this one as a Christmas gift to another furry baby. The tag on the product recommends a small/medium for frenchies, but clearly that wouldn't have worked for my dog.. I know all dogs are different sizes, but order a size bigger even after you measure, to guarantee fit and know that if it shrinks a little from washing, the product will last. :DXL Fits 70lb hound also fits 60lb pit bull
