Such a funny costume. This is a little tight on my doxie's armpits, but will do fine. The wings do not stand erect, so I will probably sew in a string across the back so they are not so saggy. The hood droops over my dog's eyes and I will probably alter it too.SO CUTE
Costume is really well made (not flimsy or cheap looking at all) & my dog looks adorable in it. I agree that the costume runs a bit small-my pug weighs 16 lbs & I'm glad I bought the MED size instead of the SML. I think the straps are actually meant to be a little snug though to prevent the wings from slipping. The bonnet, while cute, is surely not loved by my dog so she barely wore it but so many people still commented about how cute she looked.Adorable and Great Quality!
This costume is adorable and was comfortable enough that my dog wore it without trying to rip it off. We took our dog Trick-o-Treating in this costume with the kids. It was a big hit!> Click to See Editorial Reviews

Good quality and holds shape well. Material is thicker, making so it doesn't fall "limp" like many other costumes. This is the best costume I have purchased, and I have purchased about 15 dog costumes in the past. Size large fit my 62lb english bulldog perfectly. Just something to consider when sizing by weight though is that an english bulldog is really compact and short. They have large chests, so a taller dog of a different breed will often have different proportions for their weight. The size small was too big.My dog is a chinese crested and weights 9.3lbs I ended up tailoring it to his size,the body suit fit great unfortunately the head piece was too large for him.This might fit a dog who is "fluffy".Anyways,the actual costume is adorable and good "comfy" quality.It's soft and pretty light,not heavy as some other costumes.The costume includes the body suit with the tail and a head piece.Hope this helps. I added a photo to give you a better idea.Can not keep the ears on.
I bought the medium (I have a 20 lbs dog). The body fits well, even a bit snug, but the head peace is way too large and the piece with the velcro is sewed on backwards.zebra costume
I have a 6 lb. Chihuahua. I ordered a small. The body length fit him good but the legs are too long. They need to be cut a few inches and the head piece is to big. I LOVE THIS COSTUME BUT I BELIEVE THE COSTUME RUNS A LITTLE BIG. I HAVE A DACHSHUND WHO, BY THE SIZE CHART, IS TECHNICALLY A SMALL BUT I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN HIM AN EXTRA SMALL.
