I bought this costume for my larger-than-average Yorkie, and, based on the sizing chart, the small size should've fit him. It doesn't at all. It's absolutely HUGE, and if I will be keeping the costume, I'll need to make some serious alterations. Although it's so cheaply made, it's hardly worth it. Also, the wig looks like it is made for a human's head - super long elastic that would need to be doubled or tripled to fit a dog's head. And every time you touch it, clumps of hair fall out. Very disappointed! :(
