I Bought the large size for my pug and it was perfect. Perfect fit, perfect design, great great great. The hat was the only odd thing, it didn't look like a top hat, but my dogs wouldn't wear the hat anyway.
Be careful if you have a bigger dog
Size large would not fit around my bulldog. Measurment accounts from length of head to tail, not width. It looks cool but tophat is useless and flat. The large would not fit on my 45lbs. boxer puppy either and he is still pretty skinny. Outfit must be made for very small dogs.

I recommend visiting the sellers website that gives more detailed measurements for sizing. I ordered a Large based on the 1 measurement given on amazon's site but when I got it, it was way too big. Seller was more than happy to exchange for a medium (i double checked the size on sellers website) and it fits like a glove! Very happy with product and will be a great addition to our wedding party!
