just when you thought you've categorized the size of your dog, think again!! every brand out there my dog is a different size, so you can imagine when I had to order my beagle an XL costume according to the size chart, i was scratching my head. XL, ok that what is says to order. when i received the costume it was a little big and needed alterations. after they were completed the costume fit perfectly. the strap under the body was way, way to large and had to tack the hood back that would fit my head!!. overall i'm pleased with the final outcome.
