Its warm, its waterproof but it doesn't stay on my active dog. I would suggest putting a hook on the front closure or making the Velcro heavier and longer. l just took 5 minutes and stitched a hook on the front closure ( the belly works fine) and we are good to go. Very easy to put on and Rambo thinks he looks cool in it.
