Zack & Zoey Polyester/Cotton Duck Ranch Dog Coat, Small, Camel - 4.4 out of 5 stars from 65 customer reviews
Cute and warm
This is a good quality, nicely made dog jacket. My shepherd/labrador mix is fairly lean, weighs 68 lbs and measures 24 inches from base of neck to start of the tail. Size XL fits him well.
Great jacket
This is the second jacket of this style that I've purchased. Our dog is the first small dog we've owned and we quickly discovered that smaller dogs need more protection from the cold than did our larger beasts. We have a couple of other jackets for our dog, but this is why we like this one best:
1. It's manly. My husband thought that dog apparel was unnecessary and hideous, but seeing how quickly our dog got cold when we took him snowshoeing or hiking in winter convinced him to forego his prejudices and be humane.
2. It fits well. Our dog has a deep rib cage and some jackets don't fit well under the chest. This has plenty of room to adjust.
3. Reflective tapes - smart for dusk and nighttime walks.
4. Harness buttonhole - good design.
The only drawback is that it's not waterproof, however we live in the Western mountains, so rain and sleet aren't problems.
Fits my 85 pound Am Staff perfectly.
Very well constructed. Kind of looks like a Carhartt jacket :) The dog likes it too. He looks very handsome in it and it is very warm.
